ACES (Advancing Computing, Engineering, and Sciences)
ACES is our competition team. Through the ACES program students will; creatively address real world, open-ended problems, be critical thinkers and global citizens who understand the impact and influence of technology, and use oral and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively and accurately. Denton Magnet participates in several national academic competitions throughout the year including; BEST Robotics, ACTE Computer Science Fair, TSA (Technology Student Association), VEX Robotics, and the MCPSS Film Festival. All of these competitions require students to use skills associated with all three of the ACES program goals.
